Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026 - pursuant to the GDPR (Reg. (EU) 2016/679) and the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante Privacy) of 10 June 2021

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user's device while browsing. They are used to make the site work properly, to remember the user's preferences and, in some cases, to collect statistical or profiling information.

In addition to cookies, this site also uses the browser's localStorage, a technology similar to cookies that allows data to be saved locally in the user's browser. Unlike cookies, data in localStorage is not transmitted to the server with every request.

Functional cookies and storageNONE ACTIVE

At present we do not use third-party functional cookies. Should any be introduced in the future, they will be activated only with your consent through the "Functional" category of the preferences panel.

The light/dark theme preference is saved in your browser only when you explicitly choose a theme using the dedicated button. Without a choice on your part, the site follows your operating system's preference and saves nothing.

NameTypePurposeDuration
vm-themelocalStorageLight/dark theme preference (only on explicit choice)Permanent*
Legal basis: exempt from consent as storage strictly necessary to provide a function explicitly requested by the user (art. 122 Italian Privacy Code; EDPB/WP29 criterion, Opinion 04/2012). The data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or to third parties.
AI Chatbot

The site's AI assistant requires a dedicated consent because messages are processed by an external artificial intelligence service in order to generate responses. No data is used to train AI models.

Conversation data is kept in the browser's memory during browsing and is lost when the page is closed or refreshed. No persistent cookies or storage are used for the chat. Conversations are saved in anonymised form on our servers for statistical analysis purposes.

For more details on data processing, please see the Privacy Policy.

Anonymous statisticsACTIVE (OPT-OUT)

We collect anonymous browsing statistics (pages visited, device, visit duration) to improve the site and measure the effectiveness of our content. We use a statistics system hosted on our own servers in Italy (self-hosted).

This tool does not install cookies, does not collect IP addresses, does not create user profiles and does not share data with third parties. The data is completely anonymous and aggregated, and cannot be traced back to individuals.

Collection is enabled by default, even when "Necessary only" is selected, as it complies with the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (10 June 2021) for analytics equivalent to technical cookies (aggregated data, no cross-site tracking, no sharing with third parties). You can disable it at any time from the panel by selecting "Customise" and disabling "Anonymous statistics". Your browser can also send the "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to disable it automatically.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). No cookies. No personal data. Servers in Italy (Vimage VPS). Purpose: improving the site and measuring content effectiveness. Opt-out available through the cookie preferences panel.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4

This site uses Google Tag Manager (GTM) with Consent Mode v2 in Advanced mode.

GTM loads on every page but does not install cookies and does not collect personal data until the user accepts analytics cookies. In the absence of consent, GTM operates in cookieless mode, sending only anonymous and aggregated signals (without identifying the user) useful for the statistical modelling of conversions.

When you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is activated and installs the following cookies:
